Live From The Heart

After learning about chanting from Krishna Das, Robert Gass, Jai Uttal and others, I led a group that gathered monthly for twenty years sharing chants of many spiritual, religious, and faith traditions.  One weekend thirty of us recorded a wonderful session in the Nelson Music Room at Duke University; and a special CD was produced from there.

Live from the Heart is named for the spirit of our singing and because it is offered to you as we really sound, live and acoustic! There are no studio effects added. It is a celebration of grace, thankfulness, vocal beauty, and musical talent, with a touch of good luck in this live recording of world music.
